Saillans :

A small and welcoming village, 2,5km from the campsite, known for it’s Sunday market which is at it’s best during July and August.

Worth a visit :

  • The recently restored XII century Roman Catholic Church
  • The village itself, guided tours are avilable from the Tourist Information office

Crest :

A town with 8100 inhabitants, 18km from the campsite, where you will find all the shops you might need. There is also a market on Tuesday and Saturday morning or Wednesday and Friday afternoon.

Worth a visit :

  • The unmissable Crest Tower, is the symbol of the town. At 52 Metres tall it is the highest Donjon in France
  • The Saint Ferreol Chapel
  • The church of Saint Sauver

20km from the campsite, this ancient town and it’s 4700 inhabitants will give you a glimpse into the past

Worth a visit : The whole town and it’s historical architecture some buildings dating back as far as the 3rd century AD
